RIVERSIDE BEAUTY WAS FOUNDED BY OUR HEAD THERAPIST AMY IN APRIL 2013

Our sumptuous salon is in an idyllic and tranquil setting next to the captivating river Teme, just five minute walk away from the heart of Ludlow, surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Amy is a local business woman who has been lucky enough to grow up in this picturesque county. She has over 15 years’ experience as a Beauty Therapist and has trained with some of the most highly regarded brands in the industry.

Amy - Salon Owner & Head Therapist

“I qualified as a Beauty Therapist in 2007 and I honestly enjoy my work as much now as I did then. My aim has always been to provide the highest standard of treatments, using the world’s leading brands to bring our clients the latest in products and technology. I have a love for all aspects of beauty but the highlight for me is skincare and performing our advanced facials from Elemis, Medik8 and the CACI Non-Surgical treatments. Keeping up with the recent beauty trends is our priority, making sure we bring you the latest treatments that everyone’s talking about and continually expanding the selection of services we offer you.”

“After doing a two-year course in horse management I realised it wasn’t for me and chose to train in Beauty Therapy, which I fell in love with! That was in 2016 and I have now been working in the most attractive Beauty Salon I could ask for since 2018. My favourite treatment to perform is the Medik8 hands-on Facials. I love helping my clients to relax and change the way they look at their skin, as well as being able to give them advice on how to maintain their results at home.”

I came to Riverside Beauty for work experience in July 2019 and because I enjoyed it so much I requested a Saturday job in order to gain experience before I started college.
